What 2019 Looks Like

In just a few short days 2019 will be upon us. As we think about the beginning of another year consider these words of Solomon:

“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

For some 2019 will bring great joy and for others pain. Some will experience new beginnings and others will see chapters close. New Christians will need encouragement to keep up the fight, and older Christians will need the encouragement to continue forward. You will meet new people and continue developing lifelong friendships. You will have opportunities to be more involved, to encourage, to love, to help, to cry, and to grow.

While we do not know exactly what lies before us in 2019, we know that God is forever with us and that as long as we remain with Him the victories of our highs will be celebrated, and the burden of our lows will be carried by the family of God that surrounds us.
